ZY Creatives is a founder-led video studio based in Singapore. It takes footage and images you already have and turns them into social clips, product videos, interviews, event films and ads. Everything is handled by one person, so there is no account layer sitting between your brief and the work.

Edward is the founder, and the person who actually does the work. Before moving into video editing he spent years in marketing and growth, across large corporates and smaller owner-run businesses — which is why he thinks about what a video has to do once it is live, not just how it cuts.

Most work goes back in days rather than weeks. Speed is the main thing the studio competes on: a video that lands long after the moment it was made for has already lost most of what made it worth making. Exact timing depends on scope and is agreed upfront.

Social clips, product videos, interviews, event films and ads. The range is deliberate — you can bring everything to one person instead of briefing three different suppliers and stitching the results together. If you are unsure whether something fits, it is worth asking, because it usually does.

Editing only — I don't shoot. I work with footage and images you already have: phone video, camera rushes, material from an event, product shots, whatever exists. That is deliberate. It keeps turnaround short and cost down, and most businesses already have more usable material than they have used.

Mostly small businesses. Fewer people to get through and decisions made quickly is what makes a fast turnaround actually possible. My own background is in marketing and growth at larger companies, so I understand how bigger organisations work — but the day-to-day here is small teams who need something made without a long process around it.

Every project is quoted individually after a short conversation about what you need, where it is going, and when. There is no rate card, because a twenty-second social cut and a multi-day event film are not the same job. Get in touch and you will have a figure quickly.
